I managed to catch the 4th quarter of the game last night while eating dinner at a bar in the Seattle airport on my way home from Oregon (I'm still not there yet, ugh!). Traditional Cleveland fate was looming on the immediate horizon, more specifically 1.0 seconds away...... except this time Lebron gave us all some medicine we have needed since Jordan's last second jumper over Craig Ehlo in the Eastern Conference finals during the Mark Price/Hot-Rod Williams era. Lebron's miracle buzzer beater tied the series at 1 preserving home court advantage for the rest of the series and eliminating a possible 0-2 deficit at home. Coincidentally, my second layover has been in Cleveland this morning so I picked up a copy of the Plain Dealer's full page spread. I figured if the Cavs do go on to win the Finals that I would need that laminated and framed on my basement wall......or maybe in Jett's bedroom placed perectly above the crib on second thought. Lord knows how long it might be until this comes around another time, then again, maybe next year? Dynasty in Cleveland? Normally that's an oxymoron, but that may not be the case anymore!
