Jamie had another doctor appointment this morning at St. Ann's here in Westerville. It was just a routine check-up but I still went along....( an excuse to eat breakfast at Bob Evans after). The nurse came in with a little gadget to check the heartbeat which actually scared me a bit at first. Right before she started she said to "be patient, sometimes this takes a little bit to find." I think it was mainly a little scary because we just watched the movie Marley and Me last week. There is a part in the movie where Jen goes in for a check-up to hear the heartbeat. The nurse can't find it and immediately leaves and the doctor comes in who also can't find it which then leads to them telling her she has lost the baby. The movie was a good one though. Jamie and I put off watching it for the longest time basically because we knew the dog, Marley, died at the end and we didn't think we wanted to handle that right now. In our eyes, we already have two kids and are adding a third one to the mix in less than 6 months. Anyway, the nurse quickly found the heartbeat and Coach Dad over here quickly looked at his watch and counted the number of heartbeats for 10 seconds and multiplied by 6 to get a nice even number of 150. They say 140-180 is expected. After I destroyed a breakfast at Bob Evans we stopped by the Amish furniture store on State St. in Westerville to look at a couple baby cribs. Then I came home and took a nap which I just happened to now wake up from. I still have to go workout........uggh!
