2nd Dr. Appt.

Marley went for her 1 month (actually 6 weeks) visit to Dr. Tansky today. She was 9lbs. 2oz. (30th percentile), 22.25 inches long (70th percentile), and 15in. head circumfrence (55th percentile). Dr. Tansky said she was a perfectly healthly little girl! Even though she is only in the 30th percentile for weight, I told Jamie to keep in mind that she was also small at birth and has gained 2lbs. 4oz. in less than 4 weeks since our last visit. Seems to me she is packing on the L-B's just fine. Now she stays awake a ton more during the day and is beginning to coo and smile at us when we are being silly with her. And....we are pretty much guaranteed to get a smile when we "practice steeplechasing" on the bed. I take her legs and cycle them through as if she was running and throw in some split leg 'jumps' and she laughs every time. She's daddy's little All-American! 2032.
